Affordable home CCTV with the essentials covered
HiLook is Hikvision’s entry-level range, and a practical choice for Perth homeowners who want a complete CCTV system at an accessible price. It suits first homes, established homes and newly completed builds.
These packages combine wired cameras, a recorder and local hard-drive storage. We supply the equipment, install the cabling, configure the system and show you how to use it. You get a working system with support after installation.
Useful features for everyday home security
6MP detail
See more detail around entrances, driveways and outdoor living areas. Camera positions are planned around the areas you want to monitor.
Infrared night vision
Infrared illumination lets the cameras record in darkness, producing black-and-white night footage. The specified IR range is up to 30 metres; useful detail depends on the scene and camera position.
Human and vehicle detection
Filter motion events by people or vehicles to help reduce irrelevant alerts. Detection still depends on positioning, settings and conditions.
Built-in microphones
Capture sound alongside the camera picture for extra context when reviewing an event. Audio settings can be discussed during setup.
Outdoor-rated cameras
IP67-rated camera housings suit outdoor locations around the home. We choose mounting positions to suit the view and the building.
Wired camera connections
Power and video travel through network cabling to the recorder, so the cameras do not rely on Wi-Fi or rechargeable batteries.
Your footage, stored at home
The network video recorder (NVR) stores footage on its hard drive. The four-camera package includes 2TB; the six-camera package includes 4TB.
Recording duration varies with camera count, image quality, frame rate and activity. We configure the recording settings at installation rather than promising a fixed number of days.
Check your home from your phone
Use the compatible HiLook/Hikvision phone app to view live cameras and play back saved footage. We configure phone access and explain the everyday controls at handover.
Remote viewing requires an internet connection at the property and on your phone. The recorder can continue recording locally if the internet goes down, provided the system still has power.
View and manage your HiLook CCTV from your phone
We set up the Hik-Connect app during handover, giving you simple access to live video, recorded footage and motion alerts from your phone.
Live view
Check your cameras remotely from your phone, whether you are at work, away or simply want to see what is happening outside.
Playback
Review footage stored on the recorder and move back through the timeline to find an event without needing to access the recorder directly.
Motion notifications
Receive human or vehicle alerts when notifications are enabled.
Installation made straightforward
1. Tell us about your home
Send your suburb, whether your home is single or double storey, and the areas you want covered. For a standard single-storey home with pitched-roof access, we can usually confirm the package without an initial site visit.
2. Book and plan the coverage
We provide available installation dates. On the day, we discuss camera positions with you and tailor the coverage to your home before installation begins.
3. Setup and handover
We install the cameras and cabling, configure the recorder and phone access, then show you how to view live pictures and find recordings.
Moving into a new home? These packages also suit newly completed single-storey homes with suitable roof access. Tell us when the property will be ready and we can discuss installation.

Is HiLook made by Hikvision?
HiLook is Hikvision’s entry-level product range. These packages are HiLook systems; the separate Hikvision range has its own products and specifications.
Which package should I choose?
Four cameras can cover key areas around a smaller home. Six cameras give you more viewpoints for additional sides, entrances or outdoor areas. The right choice depends on your layout, so tell us what you want to see when you enquire.
Do these cameras record in colour at night?
These T361H cameras use infrared illumination for black-and-white footage in darkness. They can produce colour pictures when there is sufficient ambient light. If colour night footage is a priority, ask about our Dahua options.
Can I talk through these cameras?
The cameras have built-in microphones for audio capture. These packages are not advertised as two-way talk or active-deterrence systems.
How long will recordings be stored?
The four-camera package has a 2TB drive and the six-camera package has a 4TB drive. Storage time depends on recording settings and activity, so there is no fixed retention period.
Can I add cameras later?
The four-camera kit uses all four recorder channels. Expanding it requires a recorder upgrade or a different recorder chosen at the start. The six-camera package uses six of eight channels, leaving room for two extra cameras; equipment and installation are quoted separately.
What is included in the installation price?
GST, cameras, recorder, the listed hard drive, cabling, configuration, phone-app setup and handover are included for standard single-storey homes with pitched-roof access. Other property types and additional work require a separate quote.
What warranty is included?
Both packages include a three-year hardware warranty and a one-year labour warranty.
Can you install a system in my new home?
Yes. These packages suit newly completed homes as well as established properties, subject to the installation conditions. Include the property details and expected completion date in your enquiry.
